I’m halfway done with exams and am ready to move on, and apply to the big 4 as an experienced hire. I’ve been a cost accountant for about 5 years in NYC, and have the CMA.

Just looking for some general advice, because it’s a little overwhelming to jump from a very linear track to what feels like an endless number of possibilities. Do I need an outside recruiter, or should I just reach out to HR? How focused does my application need to be, do you pick a particular job or will you get called in to talk about it?
