When is an appropriate time to ask to get transferred to another city? Is this something you should even bring up during the first year? Will they be pissed off?

I think after one yr, but start talking to your counselor/coach early. See how it goes, and also talk to HR.

"Success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss act only as motivation"

Thanks for the going concern article!

Coming from a huge office trying to get into a tiny one, would you say it will be difficult? Considering they most likely may not need you?

When I was at a Big 4 transferring to an office all depended on whether that office had the need. I submitted a transfer and HR told me that that part of the paperwork process they had to make a business case of why they would want me to come to that office.

I would check job postings and also talk to HR to see if there are needs in the office you want to transfer to.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016

    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.
