    Hi

I was fortunate to be introduced to a recruiter of PWC and we ate dinner together. He’s an active recruiter at my school and he sent me an email that I should send him my resume by this week. The thing is that my GPA is really bad right now, it’s like 3.00 and I was hoping that I could send him my resume after this semester which I’m confident that it’ll boost my GPA. Do you guys think that I should send him my resume or not?

    Cheers guys.

I am against the idea of omitting the GPA on the resume. When you are a student, there's only a handful of things that they can use to evaluate you as a candidate and GPA is a big part of that. Also, it's one of the first thing that the recruiter looks at so if you omit it, then you might come off as someone who's trying to hide your GPA.

My gut was saying the same thing, soyanks.

A 3.0 isn't the end of the world, especially if this person expects their GPA to be higher in the near future. When you consider that with the fact that the recruiter is already interested and will probably be willing to listen, I'm thinking inclusion of GPA is best.

On the other hand, I'm inclined to defer my opinion to that of the OP's career center.

soul24rage- is your accounting or even business classes GPA any better? If you are a transfer, I'd include any community college classes in that calculation if they help.

Be honest with your GPA. I had just under 3.0 and I said exactly what it was. I was frequently asked what my GPA was in my accounting classes. 3.0 is enough to her hired so don't worry. I work at a firm with 50 employees.
