[Peanut Butter is Good]

I was applying for a PwC position. Everything went smoothly. On each page, you could go forward after completing, or back to the previous page. On or near the last page of the application, they ask if you know any employee references. I do actually know someone who works at PwC, and had meant to put his name. However, I accidentally put my other friend’s name, who happens to work at Deloitte, not PwC. Then I pressed submit, and it was too late to correct it. Is this likely to have a significant effect on my chances of getting hired for said position? Or is it a small detail that doesn’t have much bearing when in the overall context of the rest of the application details? Man….I feel stupid.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't think it will have much, if any, impact.
