Hello Guys,

It’s me again.

Thank you very much for those who gave me suggestions on my phone interview last week, really appreciate you guys!!!

That recruiter I spoke on the phone with said someone from my city’s office would approach me this week regarding the personal interview. BUT nobody has contacted since then.

She also said if I didn’t get any emails or phone calls from them, I could contact her again.

Do you think I should call her tomorrow about this?

Also, does this mean that I probably have no chance with them anymore?

How long has it been since the phone interview?

If it has been the week (7 days) and nothing, I would definitely reach out to the first contact you had.

I wouldn't say you have no chance. Communication between locations can be slow. Your information may have to travel between various HR people, managers, and partners before it lands on the right person's desk.

The phone interview was last Friday. Joining the Big4 has been my career goal ever since I graduated, sigh!

When she said next week, I was suprised too, since I heard that the feedback usually takes weeks or months! She sounded pretty certain about it.

I don't think it means that you are not being considered. But I would reach out to the first person you talked to from the firm, whether email or phone call sometime tomorrow. Just be appreciative and then hope for the best. Good Luck!!
