My first time posting to this site although I visited it from time to time when I was taking CPA Exam. Do the Big4 care if you have a CPA license when you apply. I know my chance are limited because I am out of school so chances are I will have to either network my way to a interview or go back and do a MS in Tax at a target school that they recruit from but will having a CPA count for much with the BIG4 when I apply.

If you are applying as a new hire, they require you to have met the requirements to sit for the exam (depending on whatever state you're trying to get licensed in). Without meeting the requirements the most you can do is go for an internship

Having passed all parts is not “required” but it certainly helps. Even having a couple parts passed helps.

They don't care if you have it when you apply, but you should be “actively” pursuing the license. Good luck!

of course they do. a cpa makes you more employable at any firm. and they dont have to pay you for days you miss studying/taking the exam buying you the courses.
