Hi,
Here is a bit of my background
Started my career at a big 4 firm and left as a 2nd year manager to a hedge fund. I’ve worked at this hedge fund over 1.5 years.
I have applied for a senior tax manager position at a big 4 firm and I’m waiting to hear back. All interviews are done. The reason why I’d like to move back to big 4 is that I need flexibility and I want to be relocated to the area I’d like to live.
I am a little nervous about a senior tax manager role. When I applied for it, I thought I could do it but now I’m very nervous 🙁
I am sure I can do a really good job as a tax manager, but Not so sure about a senior tax manager role.I’m afraid if I’m setting myself up for failure.
Can anyone give me advice as to how to prepare for it? Or any tips to manage people or any difference you see as you get promoted to a senior tax manager?
Any advice will be very helpful.
Im going over all technical skills after work. Not sure what else I can do….Thank you in advance.
