Do all Big 4 require you to have a license in the state you are based, i.e. is any other state license unacceptable? Anyone heard of any exceptions? Thanks!n

The requirement is for you to have license in your work state. From experience it takes an act of congress to get a partner and HR's approval. But if you sell it right then you have a chance. Hope this helps.n

And since it looks like you passed all the exams many won't consider it a huge deal that you're licensed in another state. You will just get gentle nudges to meet the requirements to get reciprocity in your work state. From conversations with others you will still be able to promote as without any issues.n
