I am an audit staff at a small regional firm (3 office and around 70-80 employees total). I have passed the CPA exam and hope to get my license in a year. My question is would my chances of getting an experienced associate position in a big 4 be likely in a year after I get my license and have at least a year of experience? The audit department in my office is small so I will be involved in many areas of each audit but we don’t audit SEC corporations. We have about 10+/- corporate EBPs but that’s pretty much it on the corporate side.

A little more information about myself is that I only have a bachelor’s but my GPA is 3.90 overall and 4.0 in accounting.
