Background check employment history

    So, basically I’m hearing a lot of conflicting reports and stories as to what companies like HireRight and First Advantage can find. Can they find employment history omitted from your application?

    This article suggests that reps from the company mostly just call up the companies you claimed to have worked for and the alma mater you claimed to have attended to verify. Anyone have a better idea about this?
